Market Director Request: I love that the Palate Bloody Mary is a little spicy and a little sweet at the same time. Pro move: ask for a Tajín rim to make it a little different. And of course, I love the three-olive garnish.

Ingredients
- Cocktail
- 2 ounces vodka
- 4 ounces Finest Bloody Mary mix
- ½ ounce Gather’s hot sauce*
- Tajín or salt, for rim
- 3 olives, lemon and lime wedges for garnish
- Gather's hot sauce
- 1¼ pounds Fresno peppers, stems removed and roughly chopped
- 4-6 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ? cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 cup rice bran oil
Instructions
- Cocktail: Add all ingredients to a Collins glass filled with ice and garnish.
- Gather's hot sauce: Place the chopped Fresno peppers and garlic in a vacuum-sealed bag with the salt. Vacuum seal and ferment at room temperature for 15 days.
- Transfer the fermented peppers and garlic to a blender. Add the apple cider vinegar and blend until smooth. While blending, slowly drizzle in the rice oil to emulsify the sauce. Adjust consistency with additional vinegar if needed and season with a pinch of salt.
