Cooler temps rolled into the valley this week, and with them, daydreams of powder days at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Channeling our inner winter, we got to thinking about our favorite winter dishes to warm up with this week. This includes the Alpenhof’s fondue. There are ordinary fondues, and then there’s the Alpenhof’s fondue. With this recipe, everyone can achieve the perfect consistency in their at-home fondue.

Ingredients
- 1 cup white wine
- 1 cup shredded Emmenthal
- 1 cup shredded Gruyere
- 1 shot Kirschwasser
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- Sliced apples
- Bread
Instructions
- Pour wine into a fondue pot and bring to a boil.
- Add the cheeses, then stir before adding a shot of Kirschwasser.
- Stir in cornstarch to emulsify the cheese mixture.
- Enjoy with sliced apples and bread.
