With the fall temps here and winter on its way, you should savor one of Piste’s Snowdrift Sippers and manifest a big snowy winter sip by sip.
This cocktail captures the crisp magic of a high-altitude winter’s day in the Tetons. Bold Wyoming Whiskey — whether the classic bourbon or spicy Outryder — forms the sturdy base, like the rugged peaks blanketed in snow. A splash of Aperol glows like alpenglow at dusk, while unfiltered apple cider adds a fresh, orchard-sweet contrast, as if plucked from a frost-kissed tree. Orange bitters brighten the blend with a flash of citrus, and cinnamon bitters swirl in warmth, echoing the scent of a pine lodge fireplace. The Snowdrift Sipper is best enjoyed fireside after a day on the slopes, or dreaming about one.
