However, should you find yourself in the cafe located on the Town Square, you’ve got plenty of classic options. Whether you prefer a classic drip coffee or a flawlessly crafted spin, Snake River Roasting won’t disappoint. (And if you’re looking for an extra-warming effect, you can opt into a shot of Still Works vodka, Baileys, Wyoming Whiskey or Jameson to any coffee drink. That’ll kick the chill of even the coldest day!)

Pearl Street Bagels

A classic on-the-way-to-adventure stop, Pearl Street Bagels has three locations, all of which offer a full espresso bar. Stop into the original downtown location, Wilson shop or newest addition in Driggs to grab a bagel and hot beverage to kick off your day. It’s the perfect pre-ski fuel or hearty way to gear up for wherever the day may take you. Sipping on coffee crafted just how you like it is the perfect way to set the tone.

If you’re more of a tea drinker, fear not! Plenty of top-shelf tea options await at Pearl Street, too.

Alpine Air Coffee

Located in the heart of Victor in Teton Valley, Alpine Air Coffee’s flagship cafe opened its doors in 2023. It’s rapidly become a favorite, serving up coffee crafted from locally-roasted beans. If you’re in a bit of a rush, don’t stress — you can also snag your caffeine fix at the drive-thru coffee hut located on the main drag. Whether you like to keep it simple with drip coffee or get specialty with espresso, the full lineup awaits at Alpine Air. Of course, they’ve got non-coffee options, too: hot drinks like cocoa, herbal tea and matcha round out the list of endlessly sippable options.

Around here, we don’t do chilly. We do frost-on-your-eyelashes cold — the kind that demands a drink that hits back. Luckily, Jackson Hole’s baristas have mastered the art of liquid warmth. Whether you find it at the end of a ski day, tucked into a fireside lounge or poured by hand in a downtown café, these cups do more than thaw fingers. They melt away the edge of winter itself.

Melissa Thomasma

In full rebellion against the unpredictable climate of the Rocky Mountains, you can find Melissa on her Teton Valley deck grilling any month of the year. Typically in flip flops. Snow, rain, wind… no weather is too fierce. She’s a lover of peaches in any form, has a borderline addiction to arugula, and (strangely) has been known to drizzle soy sauce on pizza. But even more than she loves her stand mixer and cast iron collection, she adores cooking for her husband and two kids. When this Jackson Hole native isn’t scurrying around her messy kitchen, she’s probably outside floating the river, hiking, camping, fishing, or, well… grilling.
