Have a Pearl Street Bagels in Idaho!

Have you been to the new Driggs location of Pearl Street Bagels?

Every Jackson local knows this fact: there’s nothing quite like a Pearl Street Bagel: a perfectly crisp crust with just chewy enough inside and sweet and savory flavors for any mood. And that’s not even taking into account the constellation of cream cheese, topping, coffee, cookies and more.

Pearl Street Bagels has been a Jackson Hole institution for over 30 years. And now, it’s begun its journey to becoming a Teton Valley staple as well. Around the first of the new year, a brand new Pearl Street Bagels location opened in the heart of downtown Driggs, Idaho.

The reception, perhaps unsurprisingly, has been as warm as the bagels, evidenced by these locals’ enthusiastic comments on Facebook:

“PSB has been one of my happy places for years! So happy and excited to have them even closer now!” – Andrea Nielson

“Good job, the building looks amazing. Can’t wait to come see all the hard work!!!” – Rob Hollis

“Will stop by tomorrow AM for sure! Very happy you are here!!” – Liddy Damron Ellis

“Hooray….so glad you came to the sunny side. Bagel options are always welcomed.” – Nell Fay

If you’re looking to pack up a lunch that’s worth looking forward to, Pearl Street Bagels has always had some sandwich combinations that hit a home run. Or, if you’ve got your own favorite combo, they’re happy to assemble whatever ingredients you select!

But no, they’re not going to toast it. Don’t even ask.

Same, Same, but Different…

Pearl Street Bagels owner Heather Gould says that so far, the Driggs location has been very sucessful. “The reception has been awesome,” she said. “Every day, people are thanking us for opening. We have folks who are already regulars!”

Gould said that while the menu is very much the same as the other Pearl Street Bagels locations, the building itself lends a unique vibe. “Everything is made on site, and we’ve got all the same offerings as the other two. But it’s in a really cool building,” she said. “We’ve got the same artist, Greta Getzinger, who added some artwork. It’s a neat spot.”

Pearl Street Bagels Everything

Like the other two shops on the eastern side of the Tetons, Pearl Street Bagels in Driggs isn’t exclusively grab-and-go, but it’s cozy with just four tables inside.

Stop By or Order Online

There are two ways to get exactly what you’re hungry for at PSB’s downtown Driggs location. First, swing on in to the store located at 80 North Main Street — it’s just a stone’s throw north of the stoplight on the road that runs through the heart of the valley. (Hint: look for the pterodactyl, she’ll show you the way!)

Alternatively, you can order online and have the bagel of your dreams waiting for you. Just hop on to ChowNow and place your order then dart in to collect your bagels (or cookies, coffee, salad, or other beverages) and be on your merry way.

Melissa Thomasma

In full rebellion against the unpredictable climate of the Rocky Mountains, you can find Melissa on her Teton Valley deck grilling any month of the year. Typically in flip flops. Snow, rain, wind… no weather is too fierce. She’s a lover of peaches in any form, has a borderline addiction to arugula, and (strangely) has been known to drizzle soy sauce on pizza. But even more than she loves her stand mixer and cast iron collection, she adores cooking for her husband and two kids. When this Jackson Hole native isn’t scurrying around her messy kitchen, she’s probably outside floating the river, hiking, camping, fishing, or, well… grilling.
