Roadhouse Brewing Co. to Host Two Upcoming Events

While it may be winter, Roadhouse Brewing Co. is hot right now! With the recent acquisition of Melvin Brewing and new collaborations with some of the best breweries in the country, Roadhouse is on a roll. Here is the scoop on what else they have in store:

Battle of the Breweries: Beer Pairing Dinner

Roadhouse was founded with the idea to make really good beer that would pair perfectly with delicious food. Staying true to their roots, Roadhouse partners with some big wigs in the industry to bring you the Battle of the Breweries Beer Pairing Dinner. Special guests will include Adam Duyle, executive chef for the Brewers Association and Garrett Marrero, CEO of Modern Times and Maui Breweries, along with Roadhouse co-founder and chef, Gavin Fine and brewmaster Max Shafer.

Roadhouse Beer Pairing Dinner

Enjoy a five course meal (think beer braised short ribs and Hawaiian fish tacos) with 13 thoughtfully paired beer tastings. Come and watch these beer veterans duke it out at Roadhouse Pub & Eatery on Tuesday, Jan. 24 at 6:30 p.m. Reservations are required via OpenTable. Tickets are $85 per person and can be purchased when making the reservation.

New Dogfish Head Collaboration Release

Adding to all the excitement is the new collaboration with Dogfish Head Brewery. Roadhouse and Dogfish Head partnered up to bring you a limited release, cocktail-inspired, American strong ale. But it’s not just anyone partnering up for this one. Roadhouse and Dogfish Head founders, Colby Cox and Sam Calagione actually used to be brother-in-laws.

In a nod to the Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly film, Step Brothers, you’ll find the 500 ml bottle clad with a family-style portrait of the two ex-brother-in-laws. Aptly named Not Your Ex-Step Bother-In-Law’s Beer (12.1% ABV), this triple decocted American strong ale is fermented with cherries and aged in Dogfish Head whiskey barrels. The beer is dry-hopped with orange peel and cherry to add notes one might find in a proper old fashioned.

Roadhouse x Dogfish Head

Not Your Ex-Step Brother-In-Law’s Beer will be available across Wyoming for a limited amount of time. Try it first at the 80’s ski themed launch party on Thursday, Jan. 26 at The Bird in Jackson Hole. The $10 cover will include music from Jackson Hole’s only 80’s hair band, 86, and a commemorative glass for the first 100 people. So break out those Pit Vipers because onesies and wigs are strongly encouraged.
