About Murder Ridge Winery

Murder Ridge Winery is a unique boutique winery located in the rugged coastal mountains of Mendocino County, California. It derives its name from the area’s notorious history, where legends of outlaw tales and unsolved crimes abound. Despite its ominous name, the winery is known for producing exceptional, small-batch wines that reflect the distinct terroir of the region. The vineyard’s cool climate, combined with its remote, high-elevation location, contributes to the production of complex and elegant wines, particularly Pinot Noir and Zinfandel. Murder Ridge Winery embodies a blend of mystery, history, and craftsmanship, offering wine enthusiasts an experience as intriguing as its name.
