If you find yourself hungry on the west side of the Tetons, look no further than Figgie’s Deli & Market.
As the Driggs eatery Figgie’s approaches its second anniversary, it’s become a local favorite for sandwiches and more. Under the leadership of owner Hannah McClellan, Figgie’s offers mouthwatering sandwiches featuring bold, innovative flavor profiles. Trained as a pastry chef, McClellan sought to transition away from the hyper-precision that baking and pastry creation requires, and instead embrace food that had a more relaxed vibe — without sacrificing quality. And through Figgie’s, she’s nailed it.
So… why the name “Figgie’s?” Easy, she says. She named it for her beloved rescue dog Figgie. “At Figgie’s we’re about great food, but also giving back in a way to help support animals that need homes,” McClellan said. The restaurant often partners with other pet-supporting organizations in the area to help care for critters that are down on their luck.

Signature Sandwiches at Figgie’s Deli & Market
At Figgie’s, there are a handful of sandwiches that you’ll always find on the menu. These signature sandwiches offer a diversity of options, ranging from super-classic to inventively surprising. The Stallion showcases Italian flavors, delivering pepperoni, salami, ham, pickled red onion, pepperoncini, mayo, provolone, shaved parmesan, tomato, lettuce and Italian vinaigrette on a hoagie. Another local favorite is a spin on a Vietnamese classic: the Bánh Figgie. Imagine a hoagie bursting with roasted pork, radishes, pickled carrots, cucumbers, cilantro, candied jalapeños and garlic chili mayo. Similarly adored is the RoBear: thick-cut bacon, roasted tomato, caramelized onion, smoked pepper mayo and arugula on toasted wheat berry bread.

If none of the signature sandwiches catch your eye, Figgie’s is always ready to take your order on a build-your-own sandwich, too. Every sandwich comes with house-made seasoned potato chips, which are every bit as irresistible as the sandwiches themselves. (As are the house-made cookies, of course.)
Monthly Specials & More
Each month, Figgie’s offers special sandwiches in addition to their regulars. Last month offerings include the Bollywood: curried chicken salad (mayo, cream cheese, cilantro, grapes, toasted almonds), cucumber, radish and mixed greens on local 460 Multigrain bread. There was also the Angry Augusto: turkey, smoked pepper aioli, Aussie slaw (Swiss cheese, diced jalapeño, mayo, pepperoncini and scallions), Figgie’s chips, lettuce and tomato on local 460 ciabatta.
Figgie’s also offer an expanded lineup of goods in the market, too. This summer saw the arrival of the Figgie’s ice cream sandwich — a flawless hybridization of the excellent cookies and the sandwich-forward theme. Devour two Figgie’s cookies encapsulating Shumway Farms ice cream — crafted in nearby Star Valley, Wyo. — and dusted with rainbow artisan sprinkles.

Customers can also purchase other new items to-go at the market: pre-made chicken and tuna salads are available, as well as chips, cookies and more.
Whether you’re looking for a relaxed spot to kick back and enjoy a great lunch, or want to grab sandwiches to fuel your hiking, biking, or river-based adventure in Teton Valley, Figgie’s is a must-stop! From their crave-worthy signature sandwiches to their innovative specials, Figgie’s promises to have you coming back for another helping.
