In their first joint venture, Melvin and Roadhouse open Code Red, bringing a fresh take on Mexican cuisine to the Town Square.
Pozole is a traditional celebratory Mexican dish, however pozole negro hails from the Yukatan region and is rarely seen on mainstream menus.
This unique dish was the inspiration for the first joint venture between Roadhouse Brewing Co and Melvin Brewing. Code Red is located in a prime Town Square location, below Roadhouse Pub & Eatery, and serves high quality, counter service Mexican cuisine. It is now open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

While pozole negro was the inspiration, you will find much more on the curated menu. For starters, try the loaded guacamole. Topped with pepitas, bacon, quest fresco and pomegranate seeds, you might not want to share this sweet and salty appetizer. As a main dish, you can opt for a more traditional verde pozole or spicy rojo, served with your choice of braised pork shoulder or chicken thigh. For a meatless option, try the vegetarian blanco pozole, garnished with lettuce, radish, onions, lime and avocado. Swing by for a quick breakfast including a bison and andouille breakfast burrito, or sit down and enjoy tacos al pastor with a Wa-Haca Margarita.

This quick and easy cantina offers grab-and-go options, sit down dining, and a full bar, including beer from both Melvin and Roadhouse, of course. Murals, by Denver based artist Rumtum, fill the walls, blending images from Mexico and Jackson Hole, featuring the Melvin elephant and the Roadhouse bear. This is the perfect spot to pop-in for a quick lunch or a casual evening spent with good friends, great drinks, and even better food! Homemade touches like the tortillas will keep you coming back for more.
