With fresh snow blanketing the valley, there’s no denying it—winter is on its way. The shoulder season is the perfect time to cozy up indoors and make the most of Jackson’s indoor adventures. If you missed Part One of our indoor activity guide, be sure to check it out here. In the meantime, here are even more fun ways to enjoy time inside:
Play
Still dreaming of birdies? Keep your swing sharp this shoulder season with a tee time at The Bunker. After some repairs, they are shooting to reopen at the end of November, just in time to keep your game on point.

Sip on expertly crafted cocktails while you take a swing (or a few) in their PGA-endorsed, state-of-the-art multi-sport simulators, a one-of-a-kind setup where good times roll and memories stick. Refuel between rounds with bites from their brand new menu. We recommend the Cart Girl Style Hot Dog paired with a Gopher Punch, a combo worthy of the clubhouse and a few Caddy Shack references.
Planning a get-together? Book The Bunker’s private room for your next celebration. It is perfect for office parties, birthdays (for kids or adults) or friendly tournaments. For private party inquiries, email manager@thebunkerjh.com.
And if you’re not as sporty, The Bunker has lots of board games to choose from, or just pony up to their beautiful bar and enjoy the atmosphere sans competition.
Move
There’s something kind of magical about breathing, moving, and sweating in a hot room with fresh frost on the ground. Inversion Yoga offers a plethora of classes to get your body moving and feeling steamy, even when it’s nippy out. Their daily schedule boasts everything from rejuvenating focused classes, strengthening reformer pilates, to sweaty heart-pumping sculpt classes… and even options in Spanish!
If you’re new to the yoga scene you can sign up for a week unlimited to give a few classes a try for $103, or sign up for your first full month at Inversion for $153 so you can test out all options and find out which classes you vibe with. You can also buy drop-in classes for $30 per mat class or $39 per Pilates class. Or if you want to commit to making yoga more of a ritual, 5,10 and 20 class punch packs are available as well as a monthly membership. Check out Inversion’s pricing options here, and explore which option works best for you.
After you do your mind, body, and soul some good, do your tastebuds some good to at their cafe. Inversion Cafe’s menu has something for every appetite, whether you’re in the mood for a quick coffee, smoothie or juice, or want something a bit more substantial. We’re big fans of their toast options and now that it’s soup season, we plan to make our way through their bone broth menu throughout the Fall and Winter. * The cafe is closed 11/3-11/14, re-opening to refuel you on 11/15.

View
As the golden aspens turn, there’s no better time to explore the National Museum of Wildlife Art. Perched above the National Elk Refuge, the building offers sweeping views of elk, wide-open skies, and sculptural art nestled among the sagebrush. Inside, the galleries showcase more than 5,000 works by over 550 artists, celebrating wildlife in ways that feel especially alive in the fall.
November events include Pairs (Pears) & Prosecco, a free community exhibition opening on November 7 from 5-7 p.m.; Fables, Feathers & Fur, a family-friendly storytelling and art-making event, on November 7 and 21 from 10:30-11 a.m.; and Museum Store Sunday on November 30. Also on November 7, museum members and day guests can preview the next exhibit, Tiffany Deater What Lives Underneath from 11:30 a.m. to noon. All sneak peak attendees receive 10% off at Palate to enjoy lunch after the viewing.

And now that lunch in on the brain, no visit to the Museum is complete without lunch and/or cocktails and a nosh at Palate. Dishing staff favorites include their bloody Mary, a spicy version of the classic cocktail with a Tajiin rim, the Casper Power Bowl and of the French onion grilled cheese.
Whether you’re seeking a peaceful indoor retreat, a scenic outdoor stroll along the sculpture trail, a dose of creative inspiration, all paired with a great meal, the museum beautifully blends art, wildlife, and the spirit of fall in Jackson.
