What makes Mexican food good? Fresh ingredients, good sauces and flavorful margaritas.
That is what Teton Fresh is offering now in Teton Village. The restaurant, which opened last week on the deck of the Teton Club, serves lunch from 11 a.m. until around 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays.
Owned and operated by partners Matt Linville-Engler and Steve Jones (not the TGR founder, in case you are wondering), Teton Fresh’s kitchen is run by chef Jason Mitchell.
“There is no deep fryer, and there never will be,” Mitchell said. “We don’t serve chicken strips. Everything gets grilled outside, everyday. I get stoked about fresh food.”
The menu consists of burritos, tacos, quesadillas, chili and house-infused margaritas, among other options. Whatever you order, you will get it made-to-order and get to choose toppings, sauces and options to customize your meal.
Enjoy your lunch on the outdoor deck complete with the sun — when it is out — and heaters if it is on the colder side. Is the skiing too good to stop for long? Call ahead from the top of Rendezvous Bowl and get your order to go in as few as five minutes: 307-215-7464.
If you are a local and in the know, you will get $2 off your burritos just by asking about the deal.
This summer, Teton Fresh will continue its business and offer inside dining as well. The menu will expand to include salads and other options. Currently, they use the indoor space as a special event/private rental option called The Tram Club.
