Don’t Miss Lawn Games, Live Music, Food, (and Beer, of Course) at Snake River Brewing

Spending a summer and fall evening on the lawn at Snake River Brewing is a quintessential Jackson Hole experience. Whether you’re kicked back after a day of adventure, gathering with friends from near or far, or just craving some wings and a pint — it’s the spot to be.

With plenty of summer ahead of us yet, be sure to mark your calendars with these upcoming events at Snake River Brewing:

Live Music on the Lawn

In August, two great musicians will be performing live music on the lawn at Snake River Brewing. Catch Jamie Hansen on August 14. Hear tunes by Brendan Nolan on August 28. Both musicians will play from 5 – 8 p.m. The summer’s final live music performance will be by Dangling Chains on September 11.

This is the perfect family-friendly opportunity to kick back and dive into some tasty bites and brews while enjoying great live music.

Snake River Brewing Cornhole Tournaments

That’s right. Stretch out that throwing arm and head to Snake River Brewing on September 9 and 18 at 4 p.m. for a cornhole tournament. There is a $20 entry fee for a 2-player team, and the team (out of eight) that wins takes the prize!

Great Food, Superb Sips

Really, you don’t need an event as an excuse to enjoy all that Snake River Brewing has to offer. As Wyoming’s oldest brewery, it’s a beloved downtown spot for good reason. Their constellation of award-winning beer is a favorite across the region. Order up one of their signature brews — Pako’s I.P.A., Jenny Lake Lager, Snake River Pale Ale, Zonker Stout — or sample one of their ever-rotating new creations.

To accompany great beer, Snake River Brewing offers some excellent bites, too. Nibble on bar classics like wings, nachos or a giant pretzel. Alternatively, stick around for dinner and enjoy handcrafted pizza, pasta, burgers and much more. There’s absolutely an option for every palate.

Melissa Thomasma

In full rebellion against the unpredictable climate of the Rocky Mountains, you can find Melissa on her Teton Valley deck grilling any month of the year. Typically in flip flops. Snow, rain, wind… no weather is too fierce. She’s a lover of peaches in any form, has a borderline addiction to arugula, and (strangely) has been known to drizzle soy sauce on pizza. But even more than she loves her stand mixer and cast iron collection, she adores cooking for her husband and two kids. When this Jackson Hole native isn’t scurrying around her messy kitchen, she’s probably outside floating the river, hiking, camping, fishing, or, well… grilling.
