Located within the Rusty Parrot Lodge on the edge of town, Wild Sage restaurant is a must-try as the hidden gem of summer breakfast and brunch. For early morning risers and coffee lovers, breakfast is offered daily from 7 to 11 a.m. and a weekly brunch is hosted on Sundays from 8 a.m to 1 p.m. The cozy restaurant features western chandeliers, a fireplace, wooden seating and a stunning wine display in glass casing. The second floor includes a porch for spotting wildlife with a stunning view of flat creek!
Whether you’re a savory breakfast lover, or prefer something sweet and syrupy, this place has it all. Brunch specials include a house-made bagel platter and fresh muffin, crafted by their talented pastry chef. Rather than boiling bagels in a sugar-water mix, she uses honey water, creating a glossy crust and giving it a tasty golden shine. The platter is accompanied with smoked salmon, sliced tomato cucumber pickled ramp, radish, cream cheese and capers. This dish is a next level bite for bagel lovers in the Jackson area!
Topped with a lemon glaze and filled with delicious blueberries and poppyseed, the fresh baked muffin is to die for. A sweet, house-made pastry adds a vibrance for the start to your morning.
