Live music, silent auction, beer and bites-filled event will take place on Oct. 28.
Roadhouse Brewing Co. celebrates the heroic efforts of Jackson’s volunteer fire department with an upcoming event. On Thursday, Oct. 28, which is National First Responder Day, there will be a benefit at Roadhouse’s Gregory Lane tasting room from 4-9 p.m.
The evening will feature live music, cobranded ceramic mugs for sale, a silent auction and bites from Bovine & Swine. All proceeds from the day will be donated to Jackson Hole Fire/EMS. The event will coincide with the release of a collaborative beer: Smoke Show – a 6.8% ABV hop-forward hazy IPA with flavors of passionfruit, pineapple and citrus.
Says fire fighter Alton George, “The Jackson Firefighters Association is extremely grateful to have partnered with Roadhouse Brewing for this year’s annual fundraiser. As firefighters, we pledged an oath to protect the life and property in our community, and partnering with Roadhouse Brewing allows us to continue this pledge and shows their commitment to local firefighters and first responders.
“We are privileged to partner with Jackson Fire for this benefit,” says Colby Cox, co-founder of Roadhouse Brewing Company. “At Roadhouse we believe in supporting our local community, and our first responders are a critical part of keeping this community running.”
The silent auction will feature items from local brands like Stio, Highpoint Cider and Fine Dining Restaurant Group, along with other prizes like guided fishing tours and new outdoor gear. All funds raised will go toward training opportunities, education and a firefighter injury fund.
