Stio and Q Roadhouse Brewing Company have teamed up to present Jackson with their newest apres ski microbrew, to be released this winter. As of now, they are calling it the Après IPA. The new concoction is a medium bodied, golden beer with citrus and pine hop aromas, but with a little less alcohol, so you can have a few and still make first tracks without feeling too bad.
They are still working on all the flavorful details, but need help with the most important one: the name. The brains behind this naming competition, Stio’s Noah Waterhouse, and Roadhouse’s brewer, Adam Chenault, basically wanted to give skiers and snowboarders a chance to help them come up with the perfect name.
Those interested can go to this website to vote. Voting closes tonight, so hurry and get those submission in. After voting, 3 finalists will be chosen and announced on Oct. 1. People will then have the opportunity to vote for the winner until Oct. 12. The winning namer will receive 2 Jackson Hole Mountain Resort lift tickets, an Environ jacket and pant from Stio, dinner for two at the Q Roadhouse, and a growler filled with the newly named Apres IPA.
