Malaka’s Offers More Pizzas In Teton Village

Malaka's

Since the Village Cafe closed down in Teton Village, there have been fewer options for an easy, quick and affordable meal. But just in time for the summer rush, Cutty’s owner Jerry Fasy has opened a new restaurant in the Inn at Jackson Hole.

With the help of his wife, Suzy, Fasy has taken over the Village Cafe’s old spot and is offering a variety of pizzas, snacks and salads. The menu is similar to the offerings at Cutty’s. The pizzas are slightly smaller (14 inches) and have a couple of substitutes such as Canadian bacon but will please any lover of New York-style pies.

There is a daily special for a slice and a soda for $4 (cheese) and $4.50 (pepperoni) offered all day. A full bar and a few local beers are on tap.

The name comes from a Greek word Fasy picked up while working at a Greek restaurant in college. He learned the word, which you can look up the meaning of here, and has always wanted to use it for a restaurant. So now that he has, go check it out. The Fasys hope to offer cheesesteaks on the menu this winter, too.
