Last Call for Après: Where to Celebrate the End of Ski Season in Teton Village

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is wrapping up its iconic 60th season—and while this winter may have kept us guessing with a little hit-or-miss snow, that’s no reason not to send it off properly. In fact, it’s all the more reason to lean in. Because in Jackson, we don’t need perfect conditions to celebrate. We just need a reason to raise a glass. As the days stretch a little longer, and closing day is on the horizon, it’s time for one last round of après—equal parts victory lap and farewell tour. (While we eagerly anticipate Rendezvous Fest, of course.)

Calico: Elevated Comfort

Nestled just down the road from Teton Village, Calico delivers that perfect mix of cozy and refined. Think wood-fired pizzas, house-made pastas and a warm, welcoming space that feels like a reward after a long day on the mountain. Grab a table near the windows, order something hearty and recount the day’s adventures.

You’ll catch us with a classic spicy margarita: made with Camareña Silver tequila, infused in house with strawberry, pineapple and jalapeño.

Osteria: Italian Done Right

If your idea of après includes a cozy spot with some international flair, Osteria is your move. Handmade pastas, rich sauces, and a thoughtfully curated wine list make it an easy place to settle in and stay awhile. It’s a slightly slower pace—ideal for those days when you’re not in a rush to be anywhere else.

You’ll find us with a Wyoming Smash in hand: crafted with Wyoming Whiskey, lemon, strawberry syrup and mint.

Mangy Moose: The Classic

No end-of-season après list is complete without the Mangy Moose. It’s boisterous, it’s legendary and it’s exactly where you want to be when the lifts stop spinning. Live music, cold drinks and a crowd that’s ready to celebrate—this is après in its most iconic form. And spring days practically beg you to enjoy the deck.

You’ll almost certainly find us with a huckleberry cosmo in hand: made with local Grand Teton huckleberry vodka, fresh lime juice, triple sec and cranberry juice.

Teton Thai: The Local Favorite

If you’re craving some spice, Teton Thai is a longtime local favorite. After a long ski day, bold flavors and comforting dishes hit just right. Tuck into Asian-inspired bites and enjoy signature handcrafted cocktails in this relaxed, cool spot.

We’re a sucker for the lemongrass sour: made with Maker’s Mark, lemon, lemongrass simple syrup, Saint Germain and foaming bitters.

Streetfood at the Stagecoach Bar: Worth the Detour

Speaking of stepping slightly outside the Village, Streetfood at the Stagecoach Bar in Wilson is always a good idea. Casual, flavorful, and consistently excellent with international flavors, it’s the kind of place where you can roll in, order something delicious, and unwind without any fuss. Bonus points for pairing it with a drink at the Stagecoach—it’s a local rite of passage.

While we savor a cold brew, we will absolutely be nibbling on some blissfully crispy twice-fried chicken wings.

One Last Round

Whether you’re squeezing in a few final turns or skipping straight to the après, this is the moment to savor it. The season may be winding down, but the energy is still very much alive.

So grab your crew, find a sunny patio (or a crowded bar), and send off winter the way Jackson Hole always does—with good food, strong drinks and zero regrets.

Melissa Thomasma

In full rebellion against the unpredictable climate of the Rocky Mountains, you can find Melissa on her Teton Valley deck grilling any month of the year. Typically in flip flops. Snow, rain, wind… no weather is too fierce. She’s a lover of peaches in any form, has a borderline addiction to arugula, and (strangely) has been known to drizzle soy sauce on pizza. But even more than she loves her stand mixer and cast iron collection, she adores cooking for her husband and two kids. When this Jackson Hole native isn’t scurrying around her messy kitchen, she’s probably outside floating the river, hiking, camping, fishing, or, well… grilling.
