There’s nothing like a cozy, family-style Italian meal after a snowy day on the slopes. Teton Village’s newest chalet-inspired restaurant, Corsa, opened in December, replacing the Old Yellowstone Garage at the Caldera House after a summer of renovation.
“Corsa was inspired by authentic Italian trattorias and the laid-back spirit of Jackson Hole,” says Erik Kirkenmeier, Caldera House general manager. “We want Corsa to serve as a hub for the local community – a place for celebrations and impromptu gatherings.” The dim lighting and welcoming atmosphere of the new slopeside restaurant (open daily for lunch and dinner) merges comfort and creativity, with a modern Italian menu that includes classics and unique twists.

Neapolitan style thin-crusts pizza takes center stage on the menu, with fresh housemade dough and mozzarella. Favorites like Funghi (mushrooms, Winter Winds chevre, pesto, shallots and asiago) and Trufa di Parma (prosciutto, mozzarella, truffle, parmesan, asiago) are hearty options to share with the table. The Rigatoni Norma pasta is a highlight as well for vegetarians, featuring eggplant, garlic, tomato, capers, and sheep feta. If you’re not in the mood for pizza or pasta, fresh salads, trout, roast chicken, and steak, makes for a well balanced menu.
Indulgent starters like arancini (fried risotto balls dipped in pomodoro sauce) and funghi fritti (fried portobello mushrooms) are hard to resist, a worthwhile reason to stop into the new spot for a drink and an app, if not a full dinner. Even the french fries are outstanding.
Vibrant colors, bold fabrics, and rustic wooden accents achieve exactly what Caldera House was going for when they worked with Shawn Hausman Design to reimagine the iconic space; a warm and inviting atmosphere for visitors and locals to gravitate towards after a day of skiing.

Stop in and try it for yourself; Corsa is open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
