Solitude Station Offers Gourmet Lunch for Ski Schoolers

You can’t ride the Sweetwater gondola without wondering what is happening at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort’s Solitude Station, newly open this winter. While many of the Jackson Hole locals may not be taking regular ski lessons, there is a reason you may want to sign up: the upscale lunch buffet at Solitude Station.

Generally just open to those enrolled in ski school for the day, there is a lunch buffet for kids and a separate area for adults (who can have family of all ages join them). The pristine space has a lovely fireplace, engaging art and is a great spot to kick back and relax without feeling rushed or dealing with large crowds.

There are two options for the not-so-typical buffet: soup and salad or full buffet, which offers a rotating selection of entrée choices, too. Everything from the bread to the pasta to the soup stocks and the salad dressings is homemade. Vegan or keto? No problem, there are plenty of options that will make your life even easier.

There is even a bar and selection of snacks to fill your pockets with for later. While it is typically reserved for those taking lessons, the building and outdoor fire pit are worth checking out. We heard the mac and cheese served on the kids side of the building is the best in town!
