This Thursday kicks off the 44th annual World Championship Snowmobile Hill Climb at Snow King Mountain. The four day event, taking place March 25-28, attracts viewers from across the Rocky Mountain region and beyond. With limited tickets available, here are a few of our favorite local spots to enjoy good food and drinks with a great view of the race.
Located directly across the street from Snow King Mountain, The Brewhouse Coffee shop will be open from 7 a.m. to noon all weekend, serving homemade donuts from Provisions, and grab-and-go style breakfast sandwiches. The StillWest Taproom will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., serving full pours of StillWest beers, all brewed in-house. The StillWest restaurant will be open Thursday, Friday and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Saturday 4:30 p.m. to close.
We will have the race on our big screen TV’s to watch, and you can see the race from our patio.
Chaney Scott, owner of StillWest Brewery & Grill

With at least six televisions airing the weekend’s Hill Climb race, grab a seat at StillWest and enjoy bloody mary’s, mimosas, coffee and baileys, or a Captain Morgan and coke, while viewing the fun from inside or outside on the patio. Choose from a variety of race day foods like buffalo or southern style dry rub StillWest wings, crispy Brussels spouts, and speciality sandwiches. Some favorites include the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, the fried trout sandwich, a classic French dip, the club house, and the StillWest burger, a half pound of Wyoming gourmet beef, American cheese, caramelized onions, thick cut bacon, tomato, lettuce, on a white hand tied knot bun and served with pub fries.
And located at the summit of Snow King Mountain is The Panorama House. Take the scenic lift up the mountain, watch snowmobiles race underneath you at high speeds, and grab a beer and a snack at the top. The Panorama House is a great place to escape any harsh weather, and outside, the deck has some of the best views of the Tetons in Jackson Hole.

The place to be is at the top of the mountain. Significant this year, it will be the last weekend to ride and view the Hill Climb from the scenic Summit chairlift. Construction begins at the end of the season to build the new Gondola.
