The Bistro’s oysters are always fresh.
If you’re like me and can eat oysters pretty much every day, then you are in luck. Rendezvous Bistro is making that habit affordable Monday through Friday with its oyster happy hour.
For just “two bucks a shuck,” discount oysters will be available from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. weekdays on their indoor and outdoor decks. Also find $16 bottles of French house wine (served in clear bottles with bistro glasses, of course).
“The goal is to really have that French bistro feel,” said spokeswoman Kendra Alessandro.
That’s good news to me, as one of my favorite ways to dine is to sit at their raw bar and order a dozen oysters. And with what are in my opinion some of the best oysters in town, why wouldn’t you go for an early evening snack. You might as well plan to stay on through for dinner (find their new summer menu here).
