Spur at Teton Mountain Lodge to Host Weekly Tuesday Tacos & Tunes

The Tuesday après ski scene is about to get a bit more festive in Teton Village. Spur Restaurant & Bar in Teton Mountain Lodge has Tuesday Tacos & Tunes in the works starting Feb. 8.

Every Tuesday from 3-5 p.m. Spur will have discounted beer and food, a DJ spinning music and giveaways from different beer sponsors.

“It is going to be a weekly event where guests will join to have fantastic food and drinks, listen to some great tunes spun by local DJs, and have the chance to win amazing prizes,” said Ronnie Hauptmann,
director of outlets and general manager at Spur.

The February lineup will have Montucky Brewing from Bozeman, Mont., giving out sunglasses and a Montucky ski onesie. Montucky Cold Snacks will be $3 throughout the month. DJ KnewJack, presented by KHOL, will be there to get you in the groove. To replenish after a day on the slopes, chicken or carnitas street tacos and vegetarian quesadillas will be served for $3.

For the month of February, Spur will donate $1 from every 16-ounce can of Montucky Cold Snacks to Save a Brain, a Utah-based non-profit. According to their website, their mission is “to provide education, encourage prevention, and spread awareness of the long term mental and physical effects of traumatic brain injuries and concussions.”

The March beer sponsor, giveaways and charity partnership will be announced at a later date, but DJ Raggamuffin is on the music schedule.

If beer isn’t your thing, Spur’s cocktails will keep you hydrated. Try the house spicy bloody mary with bacon and blue cheese olives or the Après Spritz – their take on an Aperol spritz. The fried brussel sprouts always hit the spot, and the signature Spur nachos never disappoint.

So if you’re looking for a fun place to keep the energy buzzing after a Tuesday sliding down the snow, stop in to Spur for a cold brew, hot food and good company.
