The Silver Dollar Bar and Grill, located inside the Wort Hotel, was recently recognized by Wine Spectator for its outstanding wine program, receiving the 2020 Award of Excellence.
This is the sixth consecutive year that Silver Dollar Bar and Grill has won the award. The Wine Spectator’s Restaurant Awards recognize restaurants whose wine lists offer interesting selections, are appropriate to their cuisine and appeal to a wide range of wine lovers.

To qualify for an award, a wine list must present complete, accurate information, including vintages and appellations for all selections. Complete producer names and correct spellings are mandatory, and the overall presentation of the list is also considered.
Whether compact or extensive, focused or diverse, these lists deliver sufficient choice to satisfy discerning wine lovers.

This year, the Award of Excellence was given to 2,289 recipients. Each wine list offered at least 90 selections, featured a well-chosen assortment of quality producers, along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style.
According to in-house sommelier, Andi Caruso, guests at Silver Dollar Bar and Grill will find a variety of specialty wines that compliment both the bar and grill menus, including wines from Slovenia, and Israeli Kosher wine, as well as several natural biodynamic and organic wines.
We are predominately United States wine focused with a representation of French wines in each category as well as a good assortment of Italian and Spanish wines.
