New Spot for Sushi at Teton Village

Shin Shin at Caldera House is an exciting new addition to the dining scene.

You can never have enough spots for sushi, even in the town the size of Jackson. And more options, mean more chances for getting those coveted reservations. Now, you don’t even have to leave Teton Village to get a little fix of Japan. Caldera House’s latest offering, Shin Shin, is a welcome addition to the village dining scene.

Shin Shin

A curated menu offers a lovely selection of small plates, crudo, rolls and a sake and whiskey menu to match. Plus all the nigiri you can ask for.

On the starters menu, don’t miss the traditional milk bread toast in three variations like bluefin tuna with uni and caviar or A5 Wagyu with bone marrow aioli.

If you have a favorite fish, the flights are a fun way to explore the different types of tuna, salmon or whitefish. The crudo was a standout to us, with options such as cold smoked yellowtail in a green chile-yuzu sauce with crispy shallot and sesame seeds, and hirame with a roasted jalapeño ponzu, pickled sweet peppers, lemon oil and micro cilantro.

The four rolls choices are great way to finish your dinner and be sure to accompany your meal with a flight of whiskey to wash it down. Shin Shin is open from 4-9 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. Reservations can be made on Resy.
