Private chef Alicia Brieger of Unprocessed Kitchen is nearly finished with a custom-built commercial kitchen with rental space available to support small business in Jackson.
In an ever changing town, development in Jackson does not always benefit small business owners. Commercial kitchen space has been either unattainable or unavailable in the valley, as there is a lack of commercial kitchens to rent. The kitchens that do come available, are typically attached to a full service restaurant at an expense that is not sustainable for a small business to operate out of.
The valley is host to an array of caterers, private chefs, bakers and people creating artisan local products. Without a place to work, many businesses have faced challenges, but soon there will be a new solution. Private chef and owner of Unprocessed Kitchen Alicia Brieger, decided to build her own commercial catering kitchen, large enough to share.
Located right off of Gregory Lane, the 1300-square foot kitchen is on two levels and will be decked out with brand new appliances, including five ovens, 10 burners, two full-service dish pits, plenty of refrigeration and storage for all basic needs. Brieger is excited to bring this stability to help fellow small businesses grow and thrive in the Jackson area
This new space will offer a home to a small business, or businesses, to have a full time, stable and unrestricted space to operate out of and call home.

As a private chef in Jackson, Brieger knows how volatile finding an option for consistent and attainable kitchen use can be. Unprocessed Kitchen, a private chef/custom meal delivery service, has been in business since 2014, and during that tenure has maintained a thriving business with an enthusiastic following.
The consistent challenge that she and others have faced, is a stable kitchen to work out of. Unprocessed kitchen has operated out of many different kitchens, all in shared spaces that have required the operation to work around other companies schedules.
With this new space, Unprocessed Kitchen can finally expand into offering services for small catering events up to 100 people, and can provide a home to another small business (or businesses) to have a full time, stable and unrestricted space to operate out of and call home.
