The best après ski spot in Teton Village is releasing their own mini line of liquor, including a vodka and spicy margs in a can.
The beloved Mangy Moose in Teton Village has found a new way to expand their brand. They recently released a branded vodka available packaged or at the bar, as well as their super-secret margarita recipe in cans.
The idea to put the famous spicy margarita in cans came first, then the idea broadened into partnering with a distillery to make a Mangy Moose-branded vodka.
We said well let’s do a mini line of liquors with our branding on it. We can have our own vodka behind the bar and in some of our specialty cocktails.
General Manager Jeremy Walker

The vodka is currently available for purchase at the Mangy Moose Market & Cellars. The canned spicy margaritas are expected to hit shelves there by the end of the month. Because of state liquor logistics, both products will only be available at the Mangy Moose for now, with the hope that they will be available for distribution soon.
The vodka is made from Wyoming potatoes and beets. It is gluten free and made at a distillery outside of Casper, Wyo. The margarita in a can will be available in four-packs and will be slightly different from the spicy marg you order at the bar, but they did everything they could to maintain the integrity of the drink. The type of tequila is a bit different, and the canned version is slightly effervescent, allowing it to give a refreshing punch without ice. The cans are about nine percent alcohol by volume.
Definitely in the summer when people are out camping and rafting, I think it will be a great addition to the alcoholic beverage quiver that people bring with them on those adventures.
Jeremy Walker
Walker looks forward to showing people around the historic Mangy Moose building and giving them different Moose experiences, from après ski at the saloon, to a hearty dinner at the Steakhouse, and now a proprietary beverages from the market. Keep an eye out for the margaritas before ski season ends, and don’t stop ordering them from the bartender because those never go out of style.
