Jackson Hole Mountain Resort’s Best Kept Secret: Solitude Station

Solitude Station, located at the mid-station on the Sweetwater Gondola, might be Jackson Hole Mountain Resort’s best kept secret among skiers and snowboarders alike.

Most JHMR regulars know Solitude Station as the Mountain Sports School rental and dining hub, but in reality it is so much more than that. Solitude Station offers food and drinks to all mountain guests, with a full service lunch buffet everyday of the ski season.

Solitude Station

Everyday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. throughout the ski season, Solitude Station hosts a unique lunch buffet. Surprisingly, it may just be the fastest way to eat a delicious lunch on the slopes so you can get back out there as soon as possible. The menu is rotating and changes everyday and it caters to almost every food restriction including gluten free, dairy free, children and vegetarian. There are two options for dining: the full buffet, or all you can eat soup and salad. Starting at $38 for adults and $20 for children, this is a must-try on your next JHMR ski adventure.

Did we mention happy hour and all day football Sunday deals and an outdoor patio? Deals like $20 buckets of beer, $8 margaritas and other drink specialities are a bargain. This might be the best happy hour on the entire mountain. Do not sleep on game days at Solitude Station. It is home to the largest TV at JHMR, a perfect place for football and ski lovers a like.

From expert to beginner, everyone can access this restaurant and find something to love here. Make reservations online and find out more here.
