The Glorietta Wine Club invites you to an intimate wine-paired dinner with Marco Ricasoli-Firidolfi, proprietor of Rocca di Montegrossi, on Saturday, Oct. 19. Rocca di Monetgrossi is one of Tuscany’s oldest and finest producers of Chianti Classico wines. For more than 37 generations, the ancient Ricasoli-Firidolfi family has cultivated grapes and crafted highly distinctive wines in the region of Chianti Classico, reflecting a local terroir as rich in flavor and structure as in tradition and history. Ricasoli-Firidolfi’s commitment to organic farming and Rocca di Montegrossi’s complete conversion to renewable energy, position this winery at the forefront of the wine industry’s bright future while honoring its rich heritage.

Exclusive wines from the Rocca di Montegrossi portfolio will be paired with a specialty six-course tasting menu curated by Glorietta Executive Chef Remle Colestock. The menu will feature fresh ingredients sourced from local farms, handmade traditional pastas and extra virgin olive oil from the Rocca di Montegrossi estate.
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to taste some of the best wines on earth, with the visionary who makes them, all while dining on specials in Glorietta’s cozy dining room. Tickets are $225 per person (inclusive of tax, gratuity and all other fees), and available here, with a cocktail reception (cash bar) beginning at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner in Glorietta’s private dining room at 6:30 p.m.

This special event is hosted by Glorietta Trattoria and North Berkeley Imports. Glorietta will be closing for the off season, Nov. 19 to Dec. 3. Future dinner reservations can be made here.
