Glorietta and Slow Food in the Tetons Partner on Workshop Dinner Series

The businesses are partnering on a seasonal workshops and private dinners over the next year.

Glorietta has always focused on the highest quality ingredients and supporting local farmers and producers, so it only makes sense they would partner with Slow Food in the Tetons to produce a series of workshop dinners over the next year. The Slow Food chapter in Jackson has a history of educating the community and supporting local farms and producers.

Kathy Clay teaching a beekeeping workshop

The first workshop dinner at Glorietta will be held June 13, featuring master beekeeper, owner/operator of K Lazy M Ranch and retired battalion chief fire marshal Kathy Clay.  Titled “The Guy in the Hive; All About the Drone,” the first of four seasonal workshops will focus on the key players in the bee hive, followed by an intimate dinner in the private dining room at Glorietta. Tickets are $200 a piece, including the workshop, private dinner, tax and tip. All proceeds from the tickets will go to support Slow Foods in the Tetons.

Each workshop dinner will focus on a seasonal subject and serve a curated dinner from head Chef Remle Colestock, previously of Palate and Cafe Genevieve. Colestock has been a long time volunteer with Slow Foods and brings his passion for local protein and produce to the food at Glorietta. Similarly, sommelier Daniel Veit also serves unique small batch wines, local spirits and beers as much as possible. Each workshop dinner will include beverage pairings to round out the private dinner experience. Staying true to focus on local producers, the inaugural dinner will highlight unique and small batch beers from Roadhouse Brewery.

Look forward to four dinners over the next year. Featuring producers like Farmstead Cider and Jackson Hole Winery, you can expect a new workshop and dinner at the start of each season, with the next in September. With only 12 seats available, this intimate experience is not to be missed.

You can learn more on The Anvil’s website, or through the Slow Food and Glorietta Instagram. Tickets may be purchased on Resy. What could be better than supporting local producers, farmers and businesses, while learning and tasting at Glorietta and contributing to Slow Foods in the Tetons!
