It’s a time of year that is widely anticipated by football fans across the country — the NFL season! And what better way to enjoy the game than with a great drink and food? Here are some of the best spots in Jackson Hole to enjoy the game and some awesome fare.
Snake River Brewing – Game Day Specials
Located in the heart of Jackson Hole, Snake River Brewing has been a go-to spot for enjoying the game with friends for 30 years now. Known as “Jackson’s Living Room,” the brewery offers up reliably great beer and food.
In celebration of football season’s start, enjoy bottomless mimosas and bloody mary’s on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 to 11 a.m. Tuck into one of their new signature breakfast menu items (like the Red Flannel or Green Flannel Hash), or enjoy a pub-style favorite like wings or wood-fired nachos.

Eleanor’s – Sips and Bites for Football Fans
Jackson’s favorite no-frills bar and eatery inside Plaza Liquor is offering specialty cocktails and breakfast tacos on game days. Opening up at 10 a.m. on football game days, indulge in mimosas, bloody mary’s and classic bar-style eats.
If you’re not in the mood for breakfast, order up some well-loved classics such as wings, tots or fries served with house-made beer cheese or fried pickles. The relaxed vibe of Eleanor’s is a local favorite for its hole-in-the-wall character; like the dive bar watering holes of yesteryear.
Sidewinders – Two Spots for Game Day Revelry
Both the downtown and West Bank locations of Sidewinders are perfect for taking in the day’s football game and enjoying drinks and delectable food.
With a wide diversity of beer on tap, you’re sure to find exactly what you’re looking for. From locally-crafted beverages like Snake River Brewing, Farmstead and HighPoint Ciders, to their own Roadhouse and Melvin Brewing options, the choices are plentiful. Sidewinders’ specialty cocktails always deliver, too. Can’t miss with an Elk Hunter (Altos Reposado tequila, grapefruit, lemon & agave nector) or huckleberry lemon drop!

If you’re in the mood for appetizer-style food, dig into wings, Merry Piglets’ chips and salsa or a classic Sidewinders pretzel. Hungry for more? The extensive menu includes pizza, pasta, salads, burgers and more.
The Bird – A South of Town Option
From 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. on Sundays, enjoy “Sunday Funday” brunch and the game at The Bird, located a few minutes south of town. Mimosas and Bloody Marys are just $6, and the menu includes brunch specials that you can’t get any other day of the week. Perfect for recovering from Saturday night, or enjoying the day’s football game!
Biscuits and gravy, huevos rancheros, French toast — it’s all in the lineup. The Bird is also a local favorite for wings, slathered in a variety of sauces; some of these get very, very hot. Proceed carefully! As they point out, “no refunds for wimps.” Equally beloved are The Bird’s burgers. Unorthodox and innovative, it’s the perfect chance to try something new.
Cutty’s Bar & Grill – Perfect to Catch the Game
If your ideal game-watching meal is a classic Philly cheesesteak, plan to head to Cutty’s Bar & Grill (opening up just before 11 a.m. every Sunday). From simple to creative, they’ve got over a dozen ways to order up your perfect cheesesteak. Don’t overlook the other bar-fare, though: wings, pizza and other irresistible plates will keep you filled up whether your team wins or loses.
Should you prefer to watch the game from the comfort of your own couch, order ahead and bring Cutty’s home! Great food in a convenient location makes it the ideal spot to swing by and enjoy football-worthy fare without the hassle of prep and cleanup.
