Cowboy Coffee on Town Square is serving up some tunes for open mic nights on the first Thursday of every month.
In the mornings, you’ll often find a line snaking out the door at Cowboy Coffee Co. on Town Square. Now you’ll find music flowing out the door during open mic night every first Thursday of the month from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tonight through March, visit the Cowboy Coffee downtown location to enjoy some tunes. From local bands, to blue grass pickin’, and everything in between, the events are available to all artists. And it’s not just music, you might hear poetry and comedy as well. But one thing is for certain, you’re bound to have a good time!
The classic coffee shop has great acoustics to create an intimate experience. They are serving up some Cowboy Coffee snacks, along with hot toddy’s and cold beers to get the party started. Maybe after a toddy or two you’ll find yourself behind the mic! To sign up ahead of time, email office@cowboycoffee.com, but walk-ins are welcomed too!
Known for their dark toasty coffee, Cowboy Coffee is an icon in Jackson. They now have 2 locations to serve the community, including a drive through for easy accessibility for those grab-and-go mornings. Their newest venture — the third location in the meadows area in Big Sky, MT, is slated to open early 2023.
Co-Owner, Peter Macllwaine, is excited to bring back the open mic night after a Covid-19 hiatus. As a music lover and local himself, he finds the events are particularly special to provide a space for local aspiring artists, established acts, and those who just wanna jam.
