This summer marks the 40th anniversary of one of our favorite local stores, The Liquor Store of Jackson Hole. Since opening its doors on May 24, 1985, The Liquor Store of Jackson Hole has become a beloved cornerstone of the community, well known for its impeccably curated selections, warm Wyoming hospitality and a staff that feels like family. You probably know it as a first-stop on the way to a fantastic dinner party, or a grab-and-go sloshie stop on the way to the river.
While plenty sets the business apart, being a member of the exclusive Wine and Spirits Guild of America stands out. As a member, TLS is uniquely privileged to stay informed about industry trends and all current industry insights and innovations, a rarity in the business. Additionally, TLS is proud to note that Rod Everett, a founding partner of the store, remains today an active and valued member of the team and the day-to-day operations, even 40 years later.
To celebrate this milestone anniversary, TLS will be hosting a summer-long celebration featuring exclusive events, limited-edition merchandise and special releases. Highlights include:
- Anniversary Summer Tasting Series: Weekly tasting events every Wednesday and Thursday showcasing premium wines through September. Guest appearances by local and regional producers of wines, spirts and hometown beers.
- Blantons Gold Bourbon – Single Barrel Selection: Exclusive to TLS – Barrel #116 is in-store now and selling fast!
- Wild Common Reposado Tequila – Single Barrel Selection: Exclusive to TLS, these bottles are aged in a first-use Weller Barrel.
- Summer Wine Sale: A rotating selection of great wines at a bargain price of 4 for $40 are available all summer long.
- Beer, wine and spirit Exclusive Tasting Events throughout the Summer: Starting with the annual “Rose Round Up” on Thursday, June 26, discover the diverse and delicious world of rose wines beyond white zin’s with the Wine Director Jeff Zipfel.
