Bottle Service Now Available at The Rose

When people think about bottle service at a bar, they might think of Las Vegas, New York City, Miami or Los Angeles. They probably won’t think of an intimate cocktail bar in Jackson Hole. But The Rose, upstairs in the Pink Garter Plaza, is in the business of changing that perception, and giving visitors a taste of the big city.

Mickey Shakerz, a veteran bartender from California, was recently recruited to manage the beverage lounge in downtown Jackson. Shakerz has over 15 years experience with craft cocktails, bartending and nightclubs in San Diego. He brought the idea for bottle service to The Rose, and quickly put it in motion.

“There’s a classy and safe way to do a nightclub scene,” Shakerz said. “After 10, the people who come in aren’t just looking for craft cocktails, they’re looking to get a buzz on.”

Starting at 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights, The Rose will have four VIP booths available for reservation. Each booth seats about 10 people and requires a $500 minimum spent on booze and mixers.

Prices start around $200 to $300 for a bottle of Tito’s vodka or similar quality liquor, such as Bacardi rum, Jameson whiskey or Bombay Sapphire gin. Your choice of four soda mixers or fresh juices made in house will run for $30. And a six-pack of Redbull will also set you back $30. The staff is all about trying to get the customer to reach the $500 minimum as efficiently as possible.

They will also offer top-shelf liquors like Grey Goose vodka and Elijah Craig bourbon, and package deals that include one or two bottles of liquor and a bottle of prosecco.

Package deals will include one or two bottles of liquor and one bottle of prosecco for the table.

“Tables are not reserved until after 10 on weekends,” Shakerz said, “but if you come in during the week and want bottle service, I’m going to give it to you.”

This winter, check out the weekly happenings at The Rose, including restaurant industry night on Tuesdays with bottle service and drink specials for industry employees, Sunday tiki night with reggae music, and weekly karaoke night coming soon.
