With two decades of experience in the aesthetics industry, Jayme is a seasoned expert in facial and skin analysis. She specializes in addressing various skin conditions and cosmetic concerns with a personalized approach to cosmetic injections, creating natural-looking enhancements tailored to each patient.
Jayme began her career in the early 2000s in a plastic surgery setting as an aesthetician and surgical assistant. She gained hands-on experience in pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care for the skin and body. Early in her career, she became certified in dermaplaning by the founder of the technique through BioMedic, the first medical skincare company to integrate this procedure. Over the years, she continued to expand her knowledge, eventually becoming a registered nurse and surgical nurse. Jayme is extensively trained and certified in pharmaceutical skincare lines, chemical peels, laser technologies and cosmetic injectable techniques. Her commitment to ongoing education ensures she stays at the forefront of the field.
Recently, Jayme made an exciting move to Thayne, Wyoming and opened up her practice, Nurse Jayme Aesthetics. Surrounded by the stunning beauty of the mountains and nearby national parks, she is thrilled to serve the Thayne and Jackson communities. Jayme finds immense joy in empowering others to feel confident and radiant in their skin.
Jayme offers an array of treatments, and any choice is a good one! Not only because you are getting her skills and expertise, but her chair is a fun one to sit in and chat. While getting a “lunch hour peel,” I got to dish with Jayme about all of her favorite foodie experiences.
Describe your perfect day of dining and winter activities
A perfect night out for me would be at dining at Local in Jackson Hole, as I am definitely a meat eater. Proteins are the building blocks for a healthy mind and healthy skin, hair and nails. My favorite meal there is the M&M platter. They bring you a hot salt block to further sear your meat to your liking. This place has the best evening date vibes.
My favorite winter activities are hiking the mountains with my Aussie pups and playing with my horses in my free time.
If you were a food, what would you be and why?
I would be a main event, and probably a Seafood platter! I love the water and ocean so whenever I have the opportunity to go to a coastal town, I enjoy eating a ton of seafood.
When you need to grab quick food on the go, what are your go-to’s?
I am not really a snacker, I eat a solid couple of meals a day. I would say my go-to during the day would be either an iced or hot Breve coffee topped with local honey as a sweet substitute.
Are you a home chef? If so, what’s your specialty?
I definitely enjoy eating at home, however the chef in our home would be my husband. He has a total of five different grills that he claims all work with meat in different ways. I would be considered a professional taste-tester in our home.
Are there any winter events you look forward to?
I look forward to any events held on The Square, as there is always a need to find some fun things while shopping in Jackson Hole. I also love taking the gondola up Teton Village mountain to get waffles at the top.
What’s your favorite place to go for lunch and brunch? Any special shop or spa spots you love?
My absolute favorite place to lunch and brunch is The Bistro. That place is so amazing, from the coffee to the food choices and more. Girls night out is always fun at The Million Dollar Cowboy, but not without stopping at Kemo Sabe first to create a super fun hat before we go! My guilty pleasures are finding beautiful accessories to decorate my business and home at Elevated Living and Home Again. Another guilty pleasure is spending a day at Snake River Lodge and Spa’s River Spa, in Teton Village indulging in an awesome massage while taking advantage of their spa amenities.
