Trailborn Jackson Hole Opens a New Chapter at the Base of Snow King

Jackson has no shortage of places to stay, but few properties have been as deeply woven into the fabric of the community as the former Snow King Resort Hotel. This summer, that familiar landmark begins a new era as Trailborn Jackson Hole, a complete reimagining of the property that blends mountain-town heritage with modern hospitality.

Located at the base of Snow King Mountain and just minutes from downtown Jackson, Trailborn Jackson Hole is now the largest property in the Trailborn portfolio and the brand’s first all-season ski-in/ski-out resort. The transformation brings refreshed gathering spaces, new dining concepts, a full-service spa, expanded event venues, and curated outdoor experiences designed to connect visitors more deeply with Jackson Hole and the surrounding landscape.

A Familiar Landmark, Reimagined

In redesigning the property, Trailborn partnered with Vida Design and DYNIA Architects to preserve the building’s original chalet-style architecture while introducing contemporary details inspired by the region’s history and culture. The result feels fresh without losing the character longtime locals remember.

One of the most noticeable changes is the reimagined lobby, which now serves as a welcoming social hub complete with intentional gathering spaces, mountain-facing lounges, and cozy spots to settle in after a day outdoors.

New Dining Destinations

Food and drink play a central role in the new Trailborn experience. The centerpiece is Old Timer Restaurant & Bar, an après-inspired American grill that pays tribute to Jackson’s mountain and ski culture. Expect comfort-driven favorites like steak frites, alpine cheese fondue, and roasted chicken, alongside a cocktail menu featuring classics such as a Negroni, old fashioned and a perfect martini. The restaurant has even partnered with Grand Teton Brewing Company to create an exclusive beer available only at Old Timer.

Guests can also enjoy Mountainside Bar & Café, a new all-day gathering space that transitions seamlessly from morning coffee to evening cocktails. With indoor lounges, outdoor seating, and mountain views in every direction, it’s designed to be a natural meeting point for both visitors and locals.

Wellness Takes Center Stage

Perhaps the most exciting addition is Ember Lily Spa, Trailborn’s first full-service spa and one of Jackson Hole’s newest wellness destinations. Created with recovery and relaxation in mind, Ember Lily offers customized facials and massages, separate men’s and women’s lounges, steam rooms, a co-ed infrared sauna, hot tubs, cold plunges and a halotherapy salt lounge. Designed for post-adventure rejuvenation, the spa welcomes both hotel guests and locals looking for a restorative escape.

More Than Just a Hotel

Trailborn has also expanded the property’s entertainment and recreation offerings with Alley-Oop, a family-friendly game lounge featuring duckpin bowling, arcade games, shuffleboard, sports viewing areas and plenty of opportunities for a little friendly competition. The hotel’s Adventure Concierge can help guests plan everything from tours in Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park to fly fishing, rafting, sleigh rides, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling. Meanwhile, locals planning weddings, retreats or large gatherings will appreciate the property’s more than 22,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor event space, capable of hosting events for up to 500 guests.

Giving Back to the Valley

Trailborn’s commitment to the community extends beyond its guest experience. Through the company’s Keep Extraordinary initiative, a portion of every direct booking will be donated to the Jackson Hole Land Trust, helping support the protection and stewardship of Northwest Wyoming’s landscapes for future generations.

A New Gathering Place for Jackson

Whether you’re looking for a spa day, a family game night, a mountain-view cocktail, a wedding venue or simply a new spot to gather after an adventure, Trailborn Jackson Hole is aiming to become more than just a place to stay. For locals, it offers fresh reasons to visit a familiar location with a new vibe. For visitors, it introduces a fresh gateway to the Tetons, one that celebrates the outdoors, embraces community and invites guests to experience Jackson Hole in a whole new way.
