Who says martinis and fries don’t go together? In Jackson Hole, some of our favorite restaurants are proving that this unlikely duo is a match made in foodie heaven. From creative spins on martinis, to “fries” that redefine tradition, here’s your guide to where to sip and snack in style.
Teton Tiger
Teton Tiger’s lychee sake martini is a sophisticated blend of Tito’s vodka, lychee fruit, sake and vermouth. As a result, this cocktail is delicate yet exotic—perfect for pairing with an equally bold bite. We recommend pairing it with the papadum: these fried lentil crackers are light, crispy, and served with a trio of chutneys—mint, mango and tamarind—that complement the martini’s fruity notes.
The Bistro

Think outside the spud at The Bistro! Their panisse chickpea fries are served with tahini sauce, mint oil and fried kale for a crispy, earthy bite that plays beautifully with the bright flavors of their Martini D’granat. This citrusy creation combines orange-flavored vodka, pomegranate and lime that strikes the perfect balance of tart and sweet.
Local Restaurant & Bar

Shoot Your Eye Out, at Local, is a complex concoction of Absaroka gin, genepy, ancho reyes, lemon and pink peppercorn syrup. This martini packs a botanical punch with a hint of spice. Meanwhile, their fries are classic, perfectly crisped Idaho pure gold fries served with a trio of housemade sauces. These fries keep it classic yet elevated, providing a neutral base for the martini’s bold flavors.
Sidewinders
The huckleberry lemon drop at Sidewinders is a sweet-and-sour delight made with Jackson Hole Stillworks vodka, homemade huckleberry syrup, and fresh lemon, all served with a salted rim. Meanwhile, their parmesan truffle fries are thick-cut fries tossed in parmesan and truffle oil, served with a black pepper aioli on the side. The richness of the fries complements the tart huckleberry flavors in the cocktail.

Snake River Grill
At Snake River Grill, their Alpine Martini is a sophisticated mix of Plymouth Gin, Dolin Génépy le Chamois, Dolin Blanc and orange bitters. It’s an herbaceous, aromatic experience in every sip. Pair it with the SRG Potato Pancake. While not your traditional fry, this crispy potato creation is topped with smoked salmon, sour cream and chives for an elegant and indulgent pairing. (The Snake River Grill is closed until late May.)

Gather
End an evening out with Gather’s SRR Espresso Martini. Infused with Snake River Roasting Co.’s espresso, vodka, Kahlua and simple syrup, this cocktail is rich, smooth and guaranteed to perk you up. It’s complementary to the Jackson Donut Holes. These fluffy donut holes come with a coffee glaze and blackberry and vanilla dipping sauces. Sweet, crispy and indulgent, they’re a fun twist on fries that pair perfectly with this caffeinated martini.
Whether you’re a traditionalist or someone looking to shake up the pairing game, Jackson Hole’s martini and fried offerings prove there’s something for everyone. Ready to sip and snack your way through town? Cheers to indulgence—one martini (and fry) at a time!
