A local favorite for over 30 years, The Blue Lion welcomes fall with a roasted squash ratatouille. This stewed vegetable dish, is served with generous layers of seasonal squashes, in their take on a French classic.
For a seasonal lunch try the fall vegetable sandwich at Persephone Bakery. The multigrain bread is served with a squash and ricotta spread, walnut pesto, and filled with wild mushrooms, spinach, and melted gruyere. And if you’ve never tried the sweet potato and brussels hash, now is the time.

If you’re looking for a healthy meal plan option, including paleo, gluten-free, and dairy free nutrition, while still being able to enjoy seasonal flavors, try the vegan butternut squash and chickpea masala from Utilete.
