Coffee addicts, juice drinkers and breakfast lovers rejoice: two new coffee shops have opened to expand the reaches of Jackson coffee culture.
Brewhouse Coffee
Located on the street level of the beautiful new building occupied by StillWest Brewery & Grill at the base of Snow King Mountain, Brewhouse Coffee is open and ready to serve your coffee, tea and breakfast-on-the-go needs. In addition to a coffee and espresso menu serving up Cuvée Coffee, their drink items also include tea and fresh-squeezed juices. Their house-made flavored syrups include: vanilla, cinnamon, maple bourbon and milk or white chocolate. Choose from a variety of pastries, oatmeal with brown sugar toppings, a yogurt parfait with granola or one of their breakfast biscuit sandwiches. A full sandwich of bacon, egg and cheese prices at just $5, or get a bite-size mini for $1. Brewhouse Coffee is open from 7-11 a.m. Tuesday-Sunday.
Butter 2
With Elevated Grounds closing on the West Bank, it’s left a void that Amelia Hatchard and Marcos Hernandez, the folks behind Streetfood at the Stagecoach and Butter Cafe in Victor, were prepared to fill. In response, they’ve opened a pop-up coffee shop in the space that was once Ski Barre. Serving Doma coffee, Butter 2 boats a full espresso bar, pastries and desserts from Butter Cafe, as well as grab-and-go items from Streetfood at the Stagecoach. This variable medley represents some of the best items from both locations. Try the croissants, maple bacon buns and lemon berry danishes from Butter, as well as brown butter tarts, assorted cookies, tiramisu cups, turmeric blueberry granola, house-made jams and flavored butters. Streetfood followers will recognize some of their favorite soups, sandwiches, salads and the tuna poke bowl. Retail items include Vosges chocolates, Ruth’s toffee, Doma coffee and Healthy Being Cafe & Juicery juices. Butter 2 is open daily from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. and predicts to be a presence on the West Bank through March.
