5 Reasons to Dine at The White Buffalo Club Again and Again

The White Buffalo Club, tucked away off West Gill Avenue in downtown Jackson, has a speakeasy atmosphere and cozy steakhouse vibe. Whether you are in the mood for a burger and a beer (the restaurant offers a $20 happy hour deal daily from 5 to 7 p.m.), or you want to indulge something more elevated, The White Buffalo Club will deliver.

Here are our top five reasons to treat yourself to dinner at The White Buffalo Club.

The Beet and Fennel Salad

Beet salads have become quite the trend for winter over the last few years, but this version has a unique spin you won’t find anywhere else in Jackson. The aesthetically pleasing combination of beets and fennel are accompanied by table-side white balsamic foam, that compliments a sherry vinaigrette dressing perfectly.

The Wine and Cocktail Selection

The restaurant boasts a cellar of over 1,100 bottles of vintage wine. When waiting for your table, you can view their extensive collection in the restaurant’s lobby. Nine wines by the glass are offered, alongside three cocktails, including A Fashionable Scotch, which feels just right to sip on while nestled in one of their corner booths.

The Ramen

You may think the WBC is an unlikely place to enjoy ramen, and you couldn’t be further from the truth. Three styles of ramen were added to the menu at the start of the winter season. The beef ramen has Wagyu tri-tip and is served with a marrow bone, which gives it a classic feel. The Field and Feather Ramen is made with an elk bone broth, elk meatballs and a quail egg two ways. And for vegetarians, the veggie ramen is a miso broth boasting marinated tofu and vegetables.

The Meat

The White Buffalo Club sources their steaks regionally, with most coming from Montana currently. Their game is also sourced from North America, a rarity, as most restaurants get their game meat from New Zealand. If you’re typically a beef person, we urge you to try the dry aged bone-in bison ribeye, raised in South Dakota. It will one hundred percent change your mind that beef is more flavorful than Bison!

The WBC also serves complete entrees such as the North American pheasant. The presentation is stunning. As stunning as it tastes!

Personalized Experiences

The private dining room at the club offers an intimate gathering space for up to 12 people and can accommodate as many as 40 people for private events. Chef Dwayne Gulley can create a customized menu for your guests. Inquire at dining@whitebuffaloclub.com for reservations and further information.

The White Buffalo Club is located at 160 West Gill Avenue and opens at 5 p.m. every night. The restaurant will close from April 15 to May 16 after the winter season. Reservations can be made via opentable.com.
