National Parks No. 2 celebrates 150th Anniversary of Yellowstone.
What’s more Wyoming than whiskey and Yellowstone?
Wyoming Whiskey has officially released its National Parks No. 2 straight bourbon whiskey, which is a partnership between the Wyoming spirits brand and Yellowstone Forever, the official nonprofit organization of Yellowstone National Park. Wyoming Whiskey has pledged to donate $150,000 to Yellowstone Forever from sales in honor of the first national park’s 150th birthday on March 1, 2022.
Last year, Wyoming Whiskey started an annual National Parks series with the inaugural whiskey supporting the National Parks Foundation. They were able to donate over $120,000 to the nonprofit. For every bottle of National Parks No. 2 sold, Wyoming Whiskey will donate $5 to Yellowstone Forever. The bottle sells for about $50 and is available in Yellowstone National Park and throughout Wyoming.

“Our partnership with Yellowstone Forever recognizes the importance of the park and provides the perfect opportunity to support current and future conservation needs,” said David DeFazio, co-founder of Wyoming Whiskey.
Yellowstone Forever supports the national park in three main initiatives including: Wildlife Forever, which focuses on animal conservation efforts; Trails Forever, which helps maintain trails for recreational use; and Here Forever, which is the arm responsible for climate and environmental related projects.
The special-release whiskey is made from non-GMO grains grown in Wyoming and water from a local limestone aquifer. At 105 proof, the tasting notes include characteristics of spices and hints of toffee and salted caramel.
Wyoming Whiskey is produced in small batches at a distillery in Kirby, Wyo., and aged for a minimum of five years. The company is run by Brad and Kate Mead, who also run Mead Ranch Natural Beef, and David DeFazio.
