For just $50 a month, a JH Wine Club subscription is the perfect way for wine-lovers to expand their knowledge and to discover new wines from around the world.
Each monthly subscription comes with four bottles of wine, your choice of red, white, or a combination, with each bottle ranging in price from $13 to $30.
Authenticity is key with wine. I try to avoid major grocery store brands, and focus on family run, small production, organic wines when possible. I look for fun interesting wines with stories. I look for cool and interesting wines that are off the beaten path from around the world. You may end up with a pino from South Africa, a California red and a good Cotes du Rhone.

The JH Wine Club monthly subscription is available for pick-up or delivery the first Thursday of every month. All wines are released online one week before. JH Wine Club offers reusable shopping bags, and free delivery within the town of Jackson (you must be home to accept the delivery).
This month, wine club members chose from a variety of white wines from Napa Valley, California, Languedoc, France, Veneto, Italy, and Willamette, Oregon. Red wines included 90+ Cellars Lot 179 Pinot Noir 2019, from Central Coast, California, Baus Family North Coast Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2019, from Sonoma County, California, Bodegas Ego Marionette 2017, from Jumilla, Spain, and an Allegrini Pallazzo Della Torre 2016, from Veneto, Italy.
I aim for no repeats in a calendar year, but a good response from a specific bottle could mean we see it again.
