Trio’s Fourth Annual Artful Meal Supports the Center for the Arts

What better way to spice up a quiet off season than with an unforgettable meal?

Trio’s annual Artful Meal, a fundraiser for the Center for the Arts, is returning next week with a four-course, seasonally inspired meal that you won’t soon forget.

The intimate chef-curated dinner will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 8 at 6 p.m. “We always hold the [Artful Meal] during the off season to really get locals involved and provide something fun to do this time of year,” says Trio Owner Jen Bradof. “And it’s more than just a night out, it’s a way to give back.”

Trio’s chefs Zach Nelson and Mitch Wren are preparing a unique seasonal meal alongside a wine pairing by Alex Hoblitzelle, who heads up the wine program at Trio. Bradof says it’s always a fun opportunity for the chefs since they have the chance to play around with different ideas – like hand cut ravioli – that they couldn’t prepare for the high volume of high season diners. The event is limited to 50 seats, with tickets available for $175 with wine pairing and $125 without.

Bradof says the now four year tradition of fundraising for the Center is part of their appreciation for all the amazing resources they provide the community with. “As a parent, I always think about everything the Center provides. With my kids in dance and violin, sometimes we’re there five times a week,” she says. “They don’t just provide awesome events for the public, but also this space for so many different activities. It’s really cool to live in this small town and have the amount of activity and culture I can expose my family to. The Center is a huge part of that.”

All of the proceeds from the Artful Meal will support the Center for the Arts. Dinner will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Space is limited, so email jennifer@jhcenterforthearts.org to reserve your spot.

If you can’t make it to the Artful Meal, stay tuned for another wine dinner at Trio in December.
