Just in time for summer, new spot offers breakfast, lunch, drinks and more.
The Snake River Roasting Co. Cafe recently opened their doors, an inviting new spot downtown to grab a cup of coffee, enjoy brunch with the family, or order up grab-and-go items for lunch.
The Outpost Group acquired Snake River Roasting in November 2021, and while opening up a coffee shop wasn’t part of the initial plan, the team jumped at the chance when JH Roasters space became available. Highlighting Provisions food and pastries, another Outpost partner, was a natural fit, explains Outpost Executive Director Meagan Moylan.

Donuts, danishes and muffins are the perfect sweet treat to enjoy with a cup of coffee, and a full made-to-order breakfast menu with items like huckleberry pancakes and a pork belly breakfast sandwich offer a tasty reason to pull up a seat and stay a while. “We felt like a grab-and-go option was really missing in Jackson,” Moylan says. “We really wanted to create a place where locals could open up a laptop and hang out, or visitors could swing by and grab a few sandwiches on their way to the park.”
The grab and go bar features items like overnight oats, caprese, smoked turkey and Italian sandwiches, as well as salads and grain bowls in convenient and sustainable packaging. A bright and open seating area with additional tables and couches upstairs provide options for up to 60 customers, a spacious feel that you won’t find anywhere else in town.
Locals can place orders online and skip the line, with a side door on the east side of the building that has cubbies where drinks and meals will be waiting.
“We’ve had great feedback and after just a few days it’s been really cool to see repeat customers,” says Moylan. “A lot of visitors really want to bring a piece of the Tetons home with them and enjoying a cup of coffee here and taking a bag of Snake River Roasting Coffee home allows that.”
Snake River Roasting Co. Cafe is located just off Town Square at 50 W. Broadway and open every day from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
