Those who love dining at Bubba’s BBQ and Noodle Kitchen will be excited to hear that the two restaurants have added new bar seating this summer.
Bubba’s has a new bar that’s open all day, with new cocktails, spirit options and more beers on draft.
“We thought the bar would bring up the atmosphere a little bit here,” says Brooke Siegler from the Blue Collar Restaurant Group. “We wanted to update it a bit without changing the traditional Bubba’s feel and I think we did that.”
Aside from your choice of specialty drinks, if you’re in there to enjoy weekend brunch, Siegler recommends the banana bread french toast – two slices of banana bread from the griddle, topped with sliced bananas, pecans, and mascarpone cream cheese. The avocado toasts comes in at a close second for those who love a savory breakfast, which is two poached eggs on top of Persephone multigrain toast with avocado, watermelon radishes, arugula, and za’atar spice.

Down the road at Noodle Kitchen, the community table is now a sushi bar with walk-in seating.
“The sushi bar really showcases all the fresh fish we receive daily. And it creates more of an inclusive feel with customers able to see the sushi guys rolling.”

The bar was extended as well to up the capacity, and guests can expect to see new rolls and sashimi offerings on the menu. Siegler recommends trying the Fire Roll, a new favorite with spicy tuna topped with king crab, spicy aioli and scallions.

Anyone who has been dining out in town is aware of how busy restaurants have been these past few months, so new capacity and a more social dining setting is a welcome addition. “This summer has been crazy busy at all restaurants, but we have a great staff and are super lucky,” says Siegler, who is excited at what the rest of summer and fall will look like for these two restaurants.
