Grizzly 399 was recently seen roaming about the valley with her four cubs, and it’s a good time to be thinking about our own mothers this weekend. Around town, there are plenty of fun things to do to show appreciation for your mama bears.
For Mother’s Day brunch on the square, look no further than The Bistro or Silver Dollar Bar and Grill. The Bistro strongly recommends reservations. Brunch cocktails and brunch items like house-smoked salmon crepes and the Jackson omelette will be available from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The raw bar full of fresh oysters will open at 11. Over at the Silver Dollar Bar and Grill, crab cake Benedict will be the main event at brunch, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. A Monte Cristo sandwich will be the lunch special at The Wort, and available all afternoon at the bar. The dinner special will be prime rib with a baked potato and veggies.
Definitely don’t forget to pick up a bouquet of flowers or a bottle of bubbly for the mom in your life. Lily and Co. is still taking orders for flower arrangements and delivery. Call sooner than later to make sure they have what you want in stock. Bodega in Teton Village will be running 15-percent off all bottles of wine and bubbly from Friday to Sunday.
Two online deals for local products include a 15-percent discount off of your purchase from Tram Jam online. Cream and Sugar is offering $10 off of your online orders via Goldbelly.
Spirits and Spice on Broadway will host a rosé tasting with cheese and crackers on both Saturday and Sunday. Sign up online for $5, and moms get to leave with a special box of chocolates and $5 off their purchase. Saturday’s event will start at 1 p.m. and Sunday will start at 2 p.m.
On Friday, Faherty Brand, a sustainable apparel shop, along with Little Comet Flower Co. from Driggs, will host their First Friday event celebrating moms. The sip and shop will run from 4-6 p.m. with rosé wine flowing, and Nikki Sue Mueller will give an astrology talk. Shop for mom at the store, buy her a bouquet of flowers, or bring her along for a relaxing glass of wine.

Whatever you do on Sunday, there are plenty of options in town to celebrate your mother and make her feel loved.
