Is there ever a bad time for a cookie? We all know the answer to that. Treat yourself to some local goodies from Food Shed Idaho next time you place an online order from the Slow Food Online Marketplace. You can feel good knowing that the local ingredients were hand-selected with care and attention.
Cecily Costa opened the Food Shed Idaho storefront in October 2021, a specialty grocer based in Victor that offers unique local and imported goods as well as house made treats. Her cookies and brittle, made with locally-sourced flour, butter and eggs, feature unique and familiar flavors, all crafted with high-quality ingredients hand selected by Costa.
Costa has been working in the specialty food business for over 20 years, cooking professionally as well as sourcing from specialty food companies, and she opened Food Shed to supply the community with local, healthy options, as well as fun and unique items they wouldn’t find elsewhere.
Costa is excited to sell a selection of her cookies and brittle on the Slow Food Online Marketplace because of how much she believes in the nonprofit’s mission. “It’s like a farmer’s market times ten,” she says. “They take a great deal of care to help farmers and local producers get their food into the hands of the community.”
You can order her treats from the online marketplace, which takes orders from Monday at noon through Tuesday at 6 p.m. every week. Pickup is at the tent next to Twigs Garden Center (890 US-89, Jackson, WY 83001) on Thursdays from 1 to 5 p.m.

Sometimes the best ingredients are simple and can shine, and they’re treats you don’t have to feel guilty about eating!”
Food Shed is also open daily (except Tuesdays and Wednesdays) from 1 to 7 p.m. in Victor, so stop by for a cookie and a chat with Costa if you’re passing through.
