A Jackson Inspired Goodie Bag

For the past year I have been working on putting together some great Jackson goodie bags to hand out at my wedding. Most of my bridal party is from out of town, consisting of my best friends from all over the country and Jackson is a destination for most of them. I thought it would be fun to put together bridal party goodie bags featuring some of the best Jackson has to offer. If you are getting married soon, or have guests coming into town to visit, these bags would be a great welcome present. Below I’ve put together the ultimate Jackson Goodie Bag guide.

Step One: Order a great customized Jackson bag from XOWYO. If you are getting married you can also speak with them about creating your customized and unique wedding stationary.goodie bags

Step Two: Add alcohol. Add a bottle of Jackson Hole Winery wine, JH Stillworks Highwater Vodka, or a few local brews from Melvin Brewing, Roadhouse Brewery, or Snake River Brew Pub.jh wine fishing lunch

Step Three: Add some local flavors. Stop into Atelier Ortega or Cocolove and pick up a box of chocolates or into Cowboy Coffee and grab a bag of Great Northern Coffee. These are great products for folks to talk home or enjoy while they are here. The Bunnery has great pancake mixes and granola that you can enjoy and bring a little bit of your Jackson breakfast home with you.Bunnery, Bunnery Jackson Hole, Bunnery Granola, Jackson Hole Restaurants, Jackson Hole Bakery, Dining in Jackson Hole, Pancake Mix, Waffle Mix

Step Four: Add a sweet gift to bring home. Jackson is packed full of souvenir shops, and not just the basic t-shirt shop. There are a lot of great options in town where you can pick up a unique gift for your friends. Packing bags for your bridesmaids? Swing into Ella’s Room and pick them up something cute and lacy. Twenty Two Home and Willow Creek have some great home furnishings and some of the best Jackson inspired accent pieces that you can get. Roam, Habits, The Bootlegger, and Terra all have gorgeous pieces of jewelry that would make any bridesmaid, sister, mom, or aunt happy they made the journey out West.roam rings

Step Five: Say thank you. It is so important to say Thank You to your guests who are visiting from out of town. Jackson is not an easy place to get to, and after flying for hours, driving over mountain passes, and adjusting to the high altitude, your guests need a little written reminder of how much you care. Paper and Grace offers gorgeous thank you cards that will make any guest feel special.

Of course there are many other great options throughout Jackson that you can fit into your goodie bag, but this is just a guide to start you off.

Mollie Flaherty

Mollie is a native Cape Codder who learned at an early age how to put a lobster to sleep, harvest cranberries, and dig for clams. After high school she followed her sense of adventure out west to the University of Wyoming where she graduated with marketing and communication degrees. She found herself making roots in Jackson, her fiance’s hometown, and using her sales skills combined with her love of anything delicious to join the Dishing sales team. She loves baking from scratch, large glasses of red wine, and hiking with her heeler, Newton. She’ll try anything, but remains a stuck up Cape Codder when it comes to seafood. If she didn’t catch it or see it come off the boat, don’t even try tempting her.
