There is nothing like relaxing with your favorite cocktail and a beautiful assortment of your favorite charcuterie board flavors. Now, you can skip the hassle of making it yourself. Sarah Carroll, founder and owner of Jackson Hole Charcuterie, will do the work for you.
What started as a fun hobby for Carroll, creating charcuterie boards for family and friends, is now a service offered in Jackson. For $35, a mini charcuterie box serves one to three people and includes two cheeses, one to two charcuterie meats, and additions of fresh and dried fruits, nuts, olives, vegetables, bread, honey, crackers, sweets, and garnish. For $65, a medium size charcuterie box comes with two to three cheeses, one to two charcuterie meats, crackers, and all of the additions.
Carroll has enjoyed experimenting with a variety of fresh and locally made ingredients to create her customized charcuterie boxes. She uses seasonal fruits, which includes blood oranges, pomegranates, and berries, this time of year, and Naughty Fruit fruit snacks, from Victor, Idaho. And her latest experiment was a dessert charcuterie board for those customers looking to satisfy a sweet tooth. The sweet board is filled with chocolate chip cookies, brownie bites, Coop and Co. macaroons, ginger molasses cookies, soft pretzel bites, breadsticks, berries, hazelnuts, chocolate ganache, almond butter, and Tram Jam.
Each charcuterie box can be customized to your diet, allergies, flavor and food preferences.
I would like to start using more local ingredients like Tiger Dog Hot Sauce, made in Jackson, and other products from the Farmers Market this summer, for fresh custom orders.
