In, Out or About: The Possibilities are Endless for a Perfect Father’s Day

There are so many ways to celebrate dad this year. With some restaurants fully open for dine-in and some open for pick up, there are plenty of ways to make dad feel special!

If dad has been itching to get outdoors, you may want to begin the festivities early with Jackson Whole Grocer. On Friday, the weekly summer grill series is making a comeback just in time for Father’s Day. Starting today, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., enjoy an ice-cold beer from Roadhouse Brewing Company, a Lockhart Cattle Company hamburger and Kettle chips on the side – all for just $6! And, if you’re feeling lucky, it’s not too late to enter Jackson Whole Grocer’s grill giveaway on Instagram. You could win a Weber charcoal grill, Woodstock charcoal, ketchup, relish, mayo, and mustard, pack of bovine and swine hotdogs and hotdog buns by following @jwgrocer and commenting on their giveaway post.

If eating in is dad’s preference, Fine Dining Restaurant Group’s Rendezvous Bistro has a few options for you. They are offering a fresh shellfish package of live Maine lobsters, fresh Island Creek oysters from Massachusetts, strawberry shortcakes for your sweet tooth and tools for rent or purchase (today may be too late to order but you can call to see if they got an extra!).

If cooking isn’t your forte, fear not! The Bistro is also offering chef-crafted dinner kits and meal deliveries. For groups of eight or more, these pre-made full course meals are sure to impress. Complete with appetizers, sides, main courses and optional cocktails, this may be the perfect day to relax, kick back and enjoy the day with family. To order click here or call (307) 739-4682.

If dad likes plans loose, Sunday may be a perfect day to roam around town. In the morning, stop by Cultivate Cafe for rustic homestyle cooking – sustainably sourced in Jackson – right next to the Historic Jackson Hole Playhouse. Then take a stroll around town and grab an afternoon coffee and pastry at Persephone Bakery. When you’re ready to settle down for dinner, treat yourself (and dad) to a mouthwatering meal at Glorietta Trattoria. According to general manager, Charles Greenwald, they are prepping for a busy evening to satisfy everyone’s needs with handmade pastas, wood-fired meals, expertly crafted cocktails and Italian wines.

These are just a few ways to celebrate dad and Jackson’s amazing food, for a full list of restaurants open for dine-in and takeout, click here.
