Written Foods and Eaten Words, 2026 craft class series

Central Wyoming College is partnering with Jackson Hole Writers, The Anvil Hotel and Glorietta Trattoria to offer a unique off-season opportunity that blends culinary arts and creative writing.

The collaboration is designed to help participants build confidence and experience in culinary writing, culminating in a food-focused tasting event and open mic at the Cache House Hostel.

An educational culinary writing session will take place Thursday, April 9, from 8:30 to 9:50 a.m. during a regular meeting of Central Wyoming College’s Composition 1020 course. Hospitality and culinary students will also attend. Community members are invited to participate alongside students; registration is required. This workshop will take place at Jackson Campus in the Center for the Arts, rm 118.

The experience continues Friday, April 10, from 6 to 9 p.m. with a tasting event and open mic at the Cache House Hostel at The Anvil Hotel. Students, class participants and community members are invited to enjoy an evening of curated bites and beverages from the Glorietta Trattoria kitchen.

Cost of this event is $60.
